Love my luba

Now that I have it all set up it dose the work so i can get to other yard care needs, and im the talk of the neighborhood, people walking by stop and look, and even cars pull over to take pic. We enjoy our little buddy, and is a perfect set up for our in town lawn. I had friends stop by and we were in the back yard talking, and the Luba came up and went around us several times, it redirected to not disturb us, We love this little guy so much, we named it Herbie..

Searching robotic lawn mowers led me to watch several YouTube videos and read many forums. I ended up purchasing the luba mini from mamotion. My yard is under 3000 sg. ft. But I wanted a mower that would climb over my curbing to park. I was able to mount the GPS antenna in a good spot. This little mower connected right up to the gps and parks right where I need it to. Works like a charm, never gets stuck . I do find the app a little hard to figure out as I am not technically talented but none the less I got it going. I'm happy with the purchase and hopefully it will give several years of service. Thank you.

I have had the 1500H for about a week and here are my first thoughts. I will update my review in the coming weeks.
The Good:
1 - The unit handles my steep back yard pretty well. I have a serious slope and the AWD does not have much of a problem with it.
2 - Cutting is really good for such a small unit. it does the stripes on the lawn and it looks great when it is done.
3 - The battery life for the 1500 is good. I can cut without recharges in most cases, so that is pretty nice.
4 - The unit seems solid. I have had no issues with build quality and believe that it should be pretty rugged.
The Not So Good
1 - RTK and GPS coverage issues. I have some trees and the unit does not like them. I lose signal and the units just pauses and sits there. This is disappointing and will see if there is way of cleaning this up. I had a unit I tried before this one that had zero connection issues but it was not AWD so that is why i opted to trade it back for this. Hope it impreoves.
2 - Task area creation and modification. While it is not overly difficult to lay out an area, modification of an area is really lacking. it would be really nice to be able to subdivide an area without have to go and redraw the whole thing with the robot.
3 - Adding areas is really harder than it should be. errors of being inside a boundary and then errors of being outside a boundary made this more painful than it had to be. Same can be said about no-go zones. Tried to setup around trees and weak gps made it impossible.
Conclusion -
I am in week 2 of having the robot and will continue working through some things. I think with some app tweaks, this could be a really good unit and system. As of right now, the AWD handling is impressive and really have shortfalls with app and rtk coverage.
