Cutting Disc for LUBA 3 AWD

Bought as spare disk. Have not used them yet. However, I have new blades on them so they are ready to go. I will swap them when its time for a blade change. This way I will take my time to replace the blades and clean up the disk for the next swap. I only wish they would have come with the 6 disk screws for installing both disk. I didn't really need the blade screws that came with the disks. Looks like good quality! 4 stars because of the screws.

Its a new, different design than the original. I like it! It just makes sense to have a little angle to the blades. Seems to clean out better. Less grass stuck behind the blades now.

When I received my Luba 3, I was surprised to find it had one Black cutting disk and one Gray cutting disk. I contacted support and they informed me that all new Luba 3's are now shipping with their new Gray "Leak Proof" disk.

This disk has 3 blades cutting at the same height as all 6 blades on the Black disk and 3 blades that cut about 1/4 inch higher and overlap the blades on the Black disk.

I wanted to try running two of the original Black disks for a comparison and that led me to order a new set of Black disks. I'm cutting a thick Tall Fescue 2 or 3 times a week and in my opinion running two of the original Black disks provides a cleaner cut.

Bought the cutting discs for a quick change, when I need to replace the blades and discs without waiting for ordering and waiting for them to arrive.
